Contributor training provides an overview of Oracle’s UCM functionality including checking in and out documents, performing searches and in-context editing. The course gives the user familiarity with more advanced in-context applications such as static and dynamic lists, dynamic converter, workflows and other features.

This course is for users who will be managing website content or users who are looking for an overview of Oracle UCM’s functionality to better plan an existing site migration or a build a new web-site.

Developers’ Fundamentals

Developers’ Fundamentals covers the functionality within the Oracle UCM Site Studio to build standardized page layouts and special functionality to collect and display data.

This course is for website developers who have a working understanding of HTML structure (head, body, tables, formatting tags), CSS and JS and a familiarity with procedural programming.

Developers’ Advanced

Developers’ Advanced covers fragment development within Oracle’s UCM Site Studio, working with Content Server Services, as well as, integration and development with other application frameworks such as Java or .NET.

This course is for website developers who have a working experience with Java or .NET and are familiar with Service Oriented Architecture and the Site Studio environment.

Oracle UCM for Managers

Oracle UCM for Managers provides an overview of Oracle’s UCM features and functionality for creating Content Management and Document Repositories. The course touches on the various components of Oracle’s UCM, design and architecture considerations for servers and websites, organization of users and permissions, defining useful metadata and the use of fragments and code to perform typical Ministry functions such as Language Switching, Flash Videos and Search Engines.

This course is for Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and others who are planning Oracle UCM projects and require an overview of the product and its functionality.
